Gaussian Heuristic 0
The Gaussian heuristic is a conjectural estimate used in number theory and lattice theory to predict the number of lattice points within a given convex body, based on the volume of the body. It suggests that the number of lattice points is approximately equal to the volume of the body divided by the determinant of the lattice, assuming the body is sufficiently large and the lattice is unimodular.
