Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) 0
Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) is a distance-dependent interaction between two light-sensitive molecules, where energy transfer occurs from a donor to an acceptor molecule without the emission of a photon. This technique is widely used in molecular biology to study interactions and distances between proteins and other biomolecules within the range of 1 to 10 nanometers.
