Continuous reinforcement is a learning process in which a desired behavior is reinforced every time it occurs, leading to rapid acquisition of the behavior. However, it can also result in rapid extinction once the reinforcement is withdrawn, as the behavior becomes highly dependent on the consistent presence of the reinforcer.
