Vestibular neuritis is an inner ear disorder characterized by the sudden onset of vertigo, often accompanied by nausea and imbalance, caused by inflammation of the vestibular nerve. While hearing is usually not affected, the condition can be debilitating, but most patients recover fully with appropriate medical management and vestibular rehabilitation therapy.
