UDP (User Datagram Protocol) is a communication protocol used across the Internet that allows data to be sent without establishing a connection, making it faster but less reliable than TCP (Transmission Control Protocol). It is ideal for applications where speed is critical and occasional data loss is acceptable, such as video streaming or online gaming.
