Twelve-tone Technique 0
The Twelve-tone Technique, developed by Arnold Schoenberg in the early 20th century, is a method of musical composition that ensures all twelve notes of the chromatic scale are sounded as often as one another in a piece while preventing the emphasis of any one note through the use of tone rows. This approach marked a significant departure from traditional tonal music, offering a new framework for atonal composition that influenced much of the 20th-century classical music.
