The TLS Record Protocol is a fundamental component of the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol suite, responsible for ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data exchanged between applications over a network. It operates by fragmenting data into manageable blocks, applying compression, adding a message authentication code, encrypting the data, and finally transmitting it securely over the network.
