Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) is a measurement technique used to determine the characteristics of electrical lines by observing the reflections of a signal pulse sent down the line. It is primarily used to detect faults, measure cable lengths, and characterize the impedance of transmission lines in various applications, including telecommunications and geotechnical investigations.
