Threshold Limit Values (TLVs) are guidelines established by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) to indicate the level of chemical substances and physical agents that most workers can be exposed to without adverse health effects. They are not legal standards but are widely used as references for occupational safety and health practices.
