Sporadic ALS, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, is the most common form of the disease, occurring without any clear family history or genetic predisposition. It is characterized by the progressive degeneration of motor neurons, leading to muscle weakness, paralysis, and ultimately death, with the cause largely remaining unknown and no cure currently available.
