Spaghettification is a phenomenon that occurs when an object approaches a black hole, experiencing extreme tidal forces that stretch it into a long, thin shape resembling spaghetti. This effect is due to the intense gravitational gradient across the object, where the force on the side nearest the black hole is significantly stronger than on the opposite side.
