Skeptical theism argues that human knowledge is limited, and therefore, we are not in a position to understand the reasons God might have for allowing evil and suffering in the world. This position challenges the evidential problem of evil by suggesting that just because we cannot see a reason for such suffering, it does not mean there isn't one that is beyond human comprehension.
