Scleral Venous Sinus 0
The scleral venous sinus, also known as the canal of Schlemm, is a circular channel in the eye that collects aqueous humor from the anterior chamber and facilitates its drainage into the bloodstream, maintaining intraocular pressure. Dysfunction or blockage of this canal can lead to increased intraocular pressure, a primary risk factor for glaucoma development.
