Resting State Functional Connectivity (RSFC) refers to the temporal correlation between spatially remote neurophysiological events, often measured by fMRI, when a subject is not performing any explicit task. It is used to identify and analyze the intrinsic functional architecture of the brain, providing insights into how different brain regions communicate during rest.
