Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction (PTTD) is a condition where the Posterior tibial tendon becomes inflamed or torn, leading to flatfoot deformity and impaired foot function. It often results in pain and swelling along the inside of the ankle and can progress to severe foot and ankle problems if not treated promptly.
