Parallel projection is a method of projecting three-dimensional objects onto a two-dimensional plane where lines parallel in three-dimensional space remain parallel in the projection. Unlike perspective projection, it does not converge at a vanishing point, making it ideal for technical and engineering drawings where true dimensions need to be preserved.
