Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease 0
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a condition characterized by excess fat accumulation in the liver in individuals who consume little to no alcohol, often associated with obesity, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome. It can progress to more severe liver damage, including nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), fibrosis, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer if not managed properly.
