Max-Min Fairness is a resource allocation strategy that prioritizes maximizing the minimum resource allocation to ensure equitable distribution among users. It is particularly useful in network bandwidth allocation where it seeks to prevent any single user from being disproportionately disadvantaged by ensuring that no user's allocation can be increased without decreasing the allocation of a user with an equal or smaller allocation.
