Concept
IntCal is a set of internationally agreed radiocarbon calibration curves that allow for the conversion of radiocarbon years to calendar years, improving the accuracy of dating in archaeology, geology, and other fields. These curves are periodically updated with new data from tree rings, corals, and other sources to refine the calibration process and account for variations in atmospheric carbon levels over time.
