The Immanent Trinity refers to the internal and eternal relationships and processes within the Godhead, distinct from the Economic Trinity which pertains to God's actions in the world. It emphasizes the understanding of God as a communion of three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—existing in perfect unity and equality without reference to creation or salvation history.
