The Doctrine of Separability asserts that an arbitration clause within a contract is an independent agreement, distinct from the main contract. This means that even if the main contract is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the arbitration clause can still be valid and enforceable, allowing disputes to be resolved through arbitration.
