Complement Fixation Test 0
The Complement Fixation Test is a serological assay used to detect the presence of specific antibodies or antigens in a patient's serum by measuring the consumption of complement proteins. It is based on the principle that if the complement system is activated by the antigen-antibody complex, it will not be available to lyse indicator red blood cells, indicating a positive result for the target antibody or antigen.
