An angular coordinate is a measure used to specify the position of a point in a plane, relative to a fixed origin, by the angle between a reference direction and the line connecting the point to the origin. It is commonly used in polar coordinates and spherical coordinates to describe locations in two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces, respectively.
