Unix Time, also known as Epoch Time, is a system for tracking time as the number of seconds that have elapsed since 00:00:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) on January 1, 1970, not counting leap seconds. It is widely used in computing systems for its simplicity and ease of conversion between human-readable dates and timestamps.
