Lepton Flavor Violation 0
Lepton Flavor Violation (LFV) refers to processes in which a lepton of one flavor changes into a lepton of another flavor, which is not allowed in the Standard Model of particle physics without neutrino masses. The observation of LFV would indicate new physics beyond the Standard Model, such as supersymmetry or other extensions that allow for flavor-changing neutral currents in the lepton sector.
