Corvée Labor was a form of unpaid, Forced Labor imposed by authorities on peasants or Lower Classes to work on Public Projects, often as a Means of taxation. While Historically prevalent in feudal and Colonial societies, it has largely been replaced by Paid labor and Modern taxation systems in Contemporary times.
